What
is a sponsorship?
The most common question
we receive when is comes to sponsorships is “How do
I get sponsored by your company?” A sponsorship is an
agreement between two parties whereas one company provides
financial or in-kind (product) support to another individual
or company in exchange for marketing and promotional efforts.
A potential sponsorship recipient should be familiar with
our products, product features, company philosophy and history.
As a sponsorship recipient, you become a representative of
Turbo Tech Racing.
Types of Sponsorship Opportunities:
Financial
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Turbo Tech Racing currently does not have any financial sponsorship
opportunities available at this time.
In-Kind (product) sponsorship
opportunities:
Turbo Tech Racing offers two types of In-kind (product) sponsorships;
Full in-kind and partial in-kind. Full in-kind sponsorships
offer the recipient with products at no cost. Partial in-kind
sponsorships offer the recipient with products at substantially
reduced price.
Terms
The duration of the sponsorship agreement lasts one calendar
year from the day in which Turbo Tech Racing’s sponsorship
agreement form is received. At the end of the year both parties
are free to renegotiate terms for another year. The terms
of agreement are dictated on an individual basis.
Turbo Tech Racing requires proof that all product(s) are installed
on the Sponsorship Recipient’s vehicle, either through
first person observation by a Turbo Tech Racing official or
through photographs, within 30 days of receipt of delivery.
Failure to supply proof of commitment through first-person
observation by a Turbo Tech Racing official or through photographs
voids the Sponsorship Agreement.
Turbo Tech Racing may terminate
the Sponsorship Agreement if the Sponsorship Recipient engages
in conduct or commits an act which would, whether or not in
public knowledge, endanger the good name or reputation of
Turbo Tech Racing, or cast Turbo Tech Racing in an unfavorable
light, or in any way bring Turbo Tech Racing into disrepute,
anywhere in the world, including, without limitation, conduct
or acts which, in the United States would be a felony, a crime
of moral turpitude, a crime involving drugs or sexual misconduct,
a violation of the laws for the protection of minors, or civil
fraud.
In the event that the Sponsorship
Recipient is unable to fulfill obligations outlined in the
Sponsorship Agreement, the Sponsorship Agreement is void.
In the event of a voided Sponsorship Agreement between Turbo
Tech Racing and the Sponsorship Recipient, the Sponsorship
Recipient must return all products listed under “Turbo
Tech Racing Commitment” in like-new condition. If products
are no longer in like-new condition, sponsorship recipient
must pay the full retail price of all parts received.
Sponsorship proposals containing
fraudulent and misleading information will be prosecuted to
the fullest extent of the law.
The Sponsorship Proposal
Sponsorship proposals for the 2004 to 2005 season will be
accepted from January 1, 2004 through March 15, 2004. All
proposals must be postmarked by March 15, 2004; NO exceptions.
A completed sponsorship proposal should include several key
